Giverny

Today we visited Monet's house and gardens in Giverny.  It was breathtaking to see the garden that inspired this wonderful artist.  The kids were not too excited about this day trip and I guess I can't really blame them.  However, I do think they appreciated the beauty of the gardens and I pray that this trip will broaden their world view and expand their minds.

Off to Normandy---another adventure awaits!

  1. I tried posting to your blog last Saturday while in Santa Cruz but for whatever reason our internet connection was so bad I couldn't make it happen from my phone. Home now, and must say how much fun we all had while lounging around Brian's folks' house as I read aloud your blog after your first trip into Paris - we were laughing out loud - you should definitely consider taking up writing as a profession! One of the pictures Bobby posted looks like a postcard, so perhaps he could consider a second profession as well! :) I had no idea how much I would enjoy checking in on your trip and seeing all your photos - I'm loving being introduced to France through your eyes! Keep blogging and I'll keep reading and laughing and appreciating your awesome vacation! Say hi to everybody for me!

    1. Mary, I am having so much fun doing the blog as it forces me to write down our adventures. We figure this is once in a lifetime so we need to keep track of it. Besides, I can print the blogs out in a book at the end and then there is no need to waste my time scrapbooking the trip:) Miss you guys!
